02/The thesis
Six things that are broken, and six rules about fixing them
The problems are not new and neither are the fixes. What is missing is somewhere the identity, the community and the payment rail are the same system.
Financial communities are fragmented
Discussion about a single stock or token is scattered across social platforms, chat apps, newsletters, data terminals and trading applications — none of which share context.
Wallets have assets but no social context
A wallet can hold stock tokens, crypto, access passes and collectibles, yet gives no readable identity, trusted reputation, membership or meaningful social graph.
Official communities are hard to verify
Scammers copy project names, logos and moderator identities. Users often cannot tell an official issuer lobby from a fan group or a malicious imitation.
Valuable contributors are poorly rewarded
Analysts, educators, moderators and organisers create value, but subscription tools, payment platforms and social profiles are separate products.
Feeds reward attention over contribution
Follower counts, engagement farming and paid promotion can outweigh accuracy. Financial discussion needs sources, disclosure, reputation and transparent moderation.
Projects lose communities after launch
Many projects concentrate on launch-day activity and never build a long-term place for updates, governance, support, education and community-built apps.
Design principles
01Simple before decentralized
Users should not need to understand blockchains to post, reply, follow or join. Decentralized components must improve ownership, verifiability, interoperability or payments — not add friction.
02Free social participation
Basic profiles, public posts, replies, votes, follows and public lobbies remain free. A project token is never required for basic participation.
03Privacy by default
Connecting a wallet must not automatically publish balances, holdings, transaction history or real-world identity. Users explicitly choose what to display.
04Communities do not require tokens
Stock, token, creator, gaming, sports, education and general-interest communities are all first class. Tokenization is optional.
05Financial context, not promises
PonsLobby can show market information and community analysis, but must distinguish issuer information, third-party data, advertising, opinion and user research. It never promises returns.
06Open integration
PonsLobby integrates with wallets, data providers, launchpads, marketplaces and applications without letting any single integration define the brand.

Is there a LOBBY token?
Yes. LOBBY is the native ecosystem token of PonsLobby and will launch through Pons V2. The official contract address and verified trading link will only be published through PonsLobby's official website and social channels at launch. Always verify the contract address before interacting.
What is LOBBY used for?
LOBBY is designed to support participation across the PonsLobby ecosystem. Its intended utilities may include access to premium communities, creator features, community rewards, governance participation, reputation incentives, mini-app payments, and other platform services as they are released. Token utilities will be introduced progressively alongside actual product features. Holding LOBBY does not guarantee profit, income, platform rewards, or access to every community.
Do communities need to launch their own token?
No. Communities can create a lobby and build an audience without launching a separate token. Stock, creator, gaming, sports, educational, and general-interest communities are supported. Communities may optionally integrate an existing token or introduce token-gated features, subject to PonsLobby's safety policies and technical requirements.
How does PonsLobby generate revenue?
PonsLobby is designed to generate platform revenue through creator subscription fees, premium-lobby services, eligible tip fees, mini-app marketplace revenue sharing, professional community tools, premium usernames, developer API plans, verified organization services, clearly labeled sponsored discovery, and enterprise community infrastructure. LOBBY is an ecosystem utility token — not a promise of revenue sharing, dividends, passive income, or guaranteed financial returns.
What does verification actually confirm?
Verification confirms control or an authorized association with a person, creator, organization, community, or project. It may involve a deployer-wallet signature, project-multisig signature, official-domain proof, issuer review, application-key verification, or a signed statement from an already verified identity. Verification does not confirm investment quality, token safety, future performance, legal compliance, or endorsement by PonsLobby.
Does connecting a wallet expose my portfolio?
No. Connecting a wallet does not automatically publish balances, token holdings, transaction history, portfolio value, or real-world identity on a user's profile. Users control which information they choose to display. However, public blockchain activity remains observable through blockchain explorers and other analytics services.
What is live at launch?
LOBBY launches through Pons V2 as the native ecosystem token of PonsLobby. Every social feature is labelled separately. Community lobbies, posting, replies, reactions, polls and wallet sign-in are live and working now. Market data, creator payments, SDK access and protocol features are not, and are labelled Planned wherever they appear. No usage statistics, user numbers, trading volume, partnerships or revenue figures will be reported until verifiable data exist.
